Painting a Picture at Royal County Down
When names such as Woods, McIlroy, Watson, Vardon, Colt and Old Tom Morris are linked to your golf course, it's guaranteed you're in a special place. Royal County Down, a perennial Top 100 in the World course is no exception.
Dating back to 1889 and having hosted the aforementioned golf giants and numerous professional tournaments, Royal County Down is on many golfer's bucket lists. Golf Magazine calls County Down "one of the most beautiful tests in the world". Golf Away Tours understands how special these links are, and when we were asked to provide photography services for their guests, we couldn't wait to see the results.
True to form, the Epic Golf Memories photographers did a first rate job, capturing and documenting this special day for the players. The surrounding Mountains of Mourne and Irish Sea views provide a spectacular backdrop, but ensuring the photos also capture the golfer's emotions and joy of the day is a prime objective of ours.
Our goal is for golfers to be able to not just tell the stories of these epic rounds, but to paint a picture as well. One look at the photos and it's certain they'll be able to do just that.
